This may be due to one of the following reasons:
- a password reset was done on the Hilo app;
- the activation token between the Hilo service and the Alexa voice assistant expires 90 days after the last activation.
Here’s how to reenable your Alexa voice assistant to regain control of your Hilo devices.
- From the Alexa home screen, tap on the More tab in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
- Choose Skills and Games.
- Tap on Your Skills.
- Tap on Hilo
- Tap on Disable Skill.
- Tap on Disable.
- Tap on Enable to use.
- Enter your Hilo connection credentials, then tap Connect.
- Tap on Discover devices.
- Tap on Close.
- Perform a test.
