Can I pause a scheduled scene?

You can pause or reactivate your scenes individually or as a group. You can also pause or reactivate your scenes all at once.

1. Pause/reactivate individually from the “Scheduled scenes” page.

a) Tap the Scenes tab.
b) Select “Scheduled scenes”.
c) Select the scene you want to pause, then tap the button located to the right of the scene name; the line will be grayed out, and a Pause icon will appear in place of the Scene icon.
d) To reactivate the scene, tap the button again.
e) Repeat this procedure for each scene you would like to pause or reactivate.

2. Pause/reactivate individually from the scene’s details page.

a) Tap the Scenes tab.
b) Select “All my scenes”.
c) Tap the scene tile to select it.
d) Select the schedule you want to pause, then tap the button to the right of the schedule.
e) To reactivate the schedule, tap the button again.
f) Repeat this procedure for each scene you would like to pause or reactivate.

3. Pause/reactivate your scenes all at once.

a) Tap the Scenes tab.
b) Tap the three dots to the left of the + in the top right corner of the screen.
c) Tap “Pause all schedules”; a Pause icon will appear next to all schedules in the “Scheduled scenes” tab.
d) To reactivate your scenes all at once, repeat the procedure and tap “Reactivate all schedules”.
e) In each case, the app will display a message confirming that all scheduled scenes have been either paused or reactivated.

Tip

  • You can choose to combine options, i.e., pause all scheduled scenes using Option 3, then reactivate only some of them using Option 1 or 2.
  • Pausing your thermostats’ scheduled scenes for winter heating can save you a lot of money!
