Are you eligible for Hilo?
Before we can look into your eligibility, you must meet these six basic criteria to embark on the Hilo adventure:

Be a Hydro-Québec customer (municipal networks are not eligible)

Have created your Customer Space (if not, have one of your bills handy during the sign-up process)

Have access to a high-speed internet service of at least 5 Mbps, a home Wi-Fi network, and an available and functional Ethernet port on your modem or router

Own a smartphone

Have a primarily electric heating source

Pay Hydro-Québec’s basic rate (Rate D). Customers enrolled in the Flex D rate must contact Hydro-Québec’s customer service for assistance with unsubscribing before joining Hilo. Customers enrolled in the Winter Credit Option can proceed with purchasing Hilo devices; Hilo will handle the cancellation of their subscription once the connected devices are installed
